Order a few trendy pieces of clothing or simply pick up a few fashion ideas. Get some fashion ideas, jot them down and go shopping at your local clothing stores if shopping online makes you nervous.

Don't forget to read a few articles about your area of travel. You don't want to later discover you missed out on a fabulous must see.

Avoid financial loss by keeping excess cash in a hotel safe if one is provided. Better yet, don't carry much cash with you - purchase travelers checks at your local bank.
