Are you aware that you can get a more comfortable fit with bigger sandals? When shopping for sandals, try a sandal that is one-size up from your normal shoe size.
For example: If you wear a size 7 shoe, try a size 8 sandal. You'll find your heal doesn't slide off the edge; your toes fit more snuggly into the shoe; and the sandals stay on your feet much better.
CAUTION:
I am a confessed sandaloholic - I can't resist them! I've had this addiction for years. When I discovered wearing sandals one-size up from my normal shoe size gave me a more comfortable fit my addiction worsened.

Sweaty and Stinky Feet Remedies

It is embarrassing when you suffer from sweaty and stinky feet. You've tried several powders and creams, but the foul smell is just too much.
- Change into a clean pair of dry cotton socks a few times a day. This will allow the feet to remain as dry as possible.
- Don't wear the same shoes two days in a row. Switching shoes will allow the shoes to air dry for a day or two.
- Dust feet with baking soda a few times a day after washing.
- Wear sandals without socks as often as possible.
- Pay particular attention to the areas between the toes when washing; an then dry them thoroughly.
- Don't borrow another person's shoes or share your shoes.
- Treat feet with an anti-fungal medication.

Ingrown Toenails
Ingrown Toenails - Ouch!
Ingrown toenails develop when the nail grows into the corner or side of the soft flesh of that toe. If you are troubled by ingrown toenails, you could be cutting your nails too short. Try cutting the nail longer so that the nail cannot move into the skin as it grows.
Shoes that are too tight or fit poorly around the toe area can push the nail into the skin as it grows. Try wearing a larger and/or wider shoe.
If you are still troubled by ingrown toenails, talk to your doctor about this sometimes painful condition. It is possible your ingrown toenail could be caused by a fungal infection or injury to the nail.
If you have diabetes keep your toenail trimmed properly so they do not cut into the skin of the toes. Infection can quickly and easily set in which can lead to infection and a loss of a toe or foot.
